Forty countries over forty years photographing marine mega fauna was as exciting as sailing the high seas. Some lows too!
Each picture in the mosaic (sample below) is from a different part of the world. In most cases I was working with scientists and stayed on location for months. So the reason for taking these pictures is connected to conservation / research but in most cases there is an extraordinary story behind the ‘moment’ the camera took the picture. I aim to write up the stories and share them on this page, with a mouse over function, for each picture.
This print is available up to 2m long! It can be printed on metal, canvas or photographic paper and still be posted easily. Prices depend on size and material and vary from £50 to £130
