This is a safe base from which to explore our private woodland and aquatic habitats. Also where we house our USB microscopes, animal holding tanks, and the infamous Natural Sparks Biodiversity Collection.
A wood burning stove pushes out heat past the tables in the lab for the participants. The stove was a cement mixer in its last, more boring life.

Sessions are best booked in a multiples of 2 or 3, always flexible: –
- 9:00 to 12:00 (flexible) and some afternoon slots
- £125 per half day for up to 8 children (ideally 4 to 6)

Workshop sessions include:
- 40 minutes in the lab of visual and intellectual exploration of a particular animal group… and our relationship with it.
- 40 minutes in the garden, of animal handling (ducks, chickens, kestrel, axolotl, etc) and welfare training.
- 40 minutes in the woods, to create some habitats for the chosen animal group… which will include testing teamwork.
- 40 minutes in a camp, linking individual passions to actions that will improve sustainability in your community
